Hope, Quanah

Quanah, Texas – Services for Lillie May Hope, 80, of Quanah, will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the Knowles Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Larpenter, pastor of Nazarene Church in Eldorado, Okla., officiating.

She died Friday in a Quanah Hospital.

Burial will be in Quanah Cemetery.

She was born July 10, 1903, in Crowley, Texas. She moved to Hardeman County in 1941.

Survivors inclue four daughters, Opal Cuvington of Clarkesville, Texas, Easter Holt of Garland, Texas, Ovita Mulvaney of Quanah, and Leafuren Austin of Bell Garden, Calif.; three sons, Richard and James, both of Quanah, and Vernon of Hereford, Texas; two brothers, Charlie Amos of San Pablo, Calif. and Tab Amos of Planada, Calif.; a sister, Elsa Duncan of Quanah; 28 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
