Joyce Marshall, 77, of Latham died Saturday, March 15, 2003, at 2:15 p.m. at her home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader, with the Rev. Marvin Mungle officiating.

Burial will be in Illini Township Cemetery, Warrensburg.

Mrs. Marshall was a homemaker.

She was born June 6, 1925, at Goodlett, Texas, to Henry and Wilma Arnett Scott. She married Wilbur “Pinky” Marshall Jr. in Goodlett, Texas, on Oct. 12, 1951.

Surviving are her husband, of Latham; one daughter, Wilma (and Richard) Stanley of Latham; a daughter-in-law, Pam (and Leo) Schmidt of Latham; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Nina Ham of Hickman, Calif., Frances Poole of Goodlett, Texas, and Beulah Malone of Holly, Colo.

She was preceded in death by one son, Larry, who died in 1989, and two grandchildren.

She was a member of Latham Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the church or to the Marshall family.
