Hubacek, Latrese Gray Helen Latrese Bellamy Gray Hubacek, age 91, of Allen, Texas passed away April 7, 2010.

She was born November 3, 1918, in Lockney, Texas, to Madison Jacob and Annie Bertie Covington Bellamy. Latrese attended schools in Hardeman County, Texas, at Medicine Mounds, and graduated from Kings High School. She married Willie (Bill) Paskell Gray on September 1, 1936, in Greenville, Texas. They lived in Merit, Texas for a short time, and then moved back to Chillicothe area. One son, David Madison, was born to the union in Medicine Mounds, Texas.

They lived in Medicine Mounds, in Amarillo during World War II, Quanah, settled in Chillicothe until 1955, then moved to Richardson, Texas. Both worked at Texas Instruments in Dallas at the time. Bill Gray passed away January 13, 1975. Latrese married John Hubacek on December 28, 1979, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They also resided in Richardson, Texas.

She retired from Texas Instruments in May 1981 after 23 years. Latrese and John moved to Kemp, Texas in 1982. John passed away in 1999, and in 2001 Latrese moved to McKinney, Texas, where she lived until she moved to Allen in 2007.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son, as well as her brother, Wilmot H. Bellamy, and her sisters, Lomare Bell and Louise Johnson. Her survivors include daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Liz) Gray of Lucas, TX; grandsons, David Madison Gray II of Melissa, TX, John Michael Gray of San Francisco, CA and Jeffrey Stephen Gray of McKinney; stepsons, Elick, Alvin, George, Anthony, and Johnny Hubacek; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. A graveside service will follow at Big Valley Cemetery, in Chillicothe, Texas at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.
