HAMILTON, Martha Deane: 1936 – 2011

Martha Deane Hamilton, 75, of Yukon, Okla., died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, in Oklahoma City.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in Yukon’s First Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Odell Baptist Church in Odell, with the Rev. Wallace Clay officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Brad Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Chapel of Chillicothe.

She was born Jan. 10, 1936, in Lubbock, a daughter of the late Fred Morrison and the late Wilma Moore Morrison. She married Robert Guthrie (Bob) Hamilton on Aug. 15, 1955, in Morton. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2002. She had lived in Chillicothe since 1989, moving to Yukon in 2005. She was a graduate of Morton High School and attended Texas Tech University. She was a member of Yukon First Baptist Church and was a former member of Odell Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a Tupperware manager for over 40 years.

Survivors include a son, Robert Guthrie Hamilton III, of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Kim Smid of Yukon, Okla., and Traci Deane Goldstein of Oklahoma City; a brother, Tommy Morrison of Vernon; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Smith Chapel in Chillicothe.
