Frutoso “Frank” Carrego, 67, formerly of Quanah, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010.

Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today in Smith Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Deacon Art Casias officiating. Burial will be in Goodlett Cemetery.

Mr. Carrego was born Jan. 21, 1943, in Beeville to Erasmo and Genara Gomez Carrego. He and Erlinda Fuentes were married on Sept. 17, 1967, in Post.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Zerina Carrego and Roxzy Lucio, both of Rosenberg, and Karla King of Wichita Falls; a son, Darryl Carrego of Quanah; two sisters, Mary Lopez of Houston and Natalie Monsebais of Beeville; a brother, Joe Carrigo of Quanah; and seven grandchildren.
